On the left we have Firefly, on the right is Plume . Note this is with 2 coats already. I had to put on 4 coats to make it completely opaque. They both have the same kind of bronzy base colour, but the one more red and the other more blue. Be warned: the Firefly polish stained my nails. Even though I used a base coat.
Gail has definitely influenced me into painting non-white French type tips and to use dark colours. Still need to practice some more with masking off lines.
I used Crushed Grapes from TipTop. Simply love this colour! Also I can’t go 2 hours without tips chipping. I should probably invest in some decent top- and base coat.
The tips are worn, there’s polish messed all around the nail bed, slightly out of focus… and my fingers are graffiti’d by Finger Faces.
